Ria & Gary got married at the Ye Olde Plough House located in Bulphan Essex. It was a very cold day, I'll never complain about the heat during the summer wedding season again. The day was beautiful, lots of laughs, smiles and tears. Everyone had a great time and it was a pleasure to be involved.

David & Clara - Ye Olde Plough House Wedding

David & Clara got married! It was a lovely sunny day with close family and friends in attendance. The bridal prep, ceremony & reception all happened at the same venue, Ye Olde Plough House in Bulphan Essex. It was my first time at this venue and i felt really comfortable. The house is beautiful, the staff are fantastic and the gardens are stunning, lots of photo opportunities.

I like my portrait sessions to be relaxed and for the people involved to be as 'real' as can be. One way to help people relax and feel comfortable is to use a location they are familiar with. The family home makes for a great location especially if there is a garden and the rain keeps away. This beautiful young lady was happily posing and seemed really comfortable with me and my cameras as we explored and played in the family garden. I don't normally crop my images but for this post I've chosen a square format. I do like the square format and would love the option to capture this way in camera.
